Beebee baby confession
I only work part-time, we have no "extra" money, I had a really awful pregnancy and childbirth last time, DH and I are in marriage counseling, I am in personal counseling and on anti-depressents, I am type-2 diabetic, YET I WANT ANOTHER BABY, NOW!
If we have more than 1 kid, we've always said we wanted them to be no more than 2 to 2 1/2 yrs apart. So, Eva turned 1 in November and I would need to get pregnant by this summer to make them close enough together. Eva is so incredibly awesome and we love to have another little one to love.
It has been on my mind a ton lately that I want another baby (and I know DH does, too) and we just found out last night that our BFF couple is pregnant with their third. Now my competitive spirit has clicked in and I want a baby even more!!!! Yes, I know this is flameworthy and I don't care.

Yeah, sometimes those things you "always said" you'd do don't work out in real life. It won't be the end of the world if your children are 3 or 4 years apart.
This could be a good motivator for getting your life in order though. Saying, "we both want a child but we won't until our marriage/health/whatever is better" will make you work harder at it, right?

jesus, that site is like petfinder for kids. it's not a pleasant site. i am sure they don't mean to be so weird, but FFS the child advertisements are sad. i promise, if i had the room, i'd adopt a set of siblings. i always said i would foster, but i can't see the difference in fostering odler kids or adopting them.
