Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Update to plant killer post
So ANOTHER coworker stopped by today and commented on my new, healthy plants, and I was telling her the story of how they were to replace my other one, which I have all but killed off and am basically just waiting for it to die so I can throw it away guilt-free, and she was all, "It's not dead. It's a tulip."
:::insert blank stare from me:::
her: "A tulip. The leaves are supposed to all die/drop off. It'll bloom again in the spring."
:::insert bigger blank stare from me:::
her: "It's a BULB. It's not dead. There's a bulb in there."
Sooo, thank God she turned up and told me. That thing was days away from the garbage.
But, if you're keeping track, I now have THREE healthy plants (up from two, which was up from one) to keep alive, one of which has the added burden of needing to be planted or someshit so that it can bloom again.
