RP:Holy Cow!

So needless to say I had a terrible New Years Eve and Day! It all started Tuesday the 29th, they day before the Eve. I had a really bad pain in my side/stomache.  I wrote it off a just gas. Well the next morning I woke up at 5am to head to my workout and told my paramedic husband about my pain.  I couldn't do a few simple warm up excercises and he suggested I go to the doc.  I call the doc and can't get in until later that afternoon.  When I get there I describe the pain, and she (the doctor) pushes right on it and the pain nearly sent me off of the exam table.  First thing she says is looks like your gallbladder!  She then proceeds to tell me that she is going to send me to the surgeon but they don't have an appointment until the next day at 3:45. She then calls the surgeons office back and tells them that this can't wait and they need to send me now. So I truck on over to the Surgeons office. When I get there I see the surgeon, he again presses on the area and it again just about shoots me off of the table.  He says well, it looks like we need to go ahead and admit you to the hospital right now and schedule surgery for tomorrow!!!! EEEK!!! Keep in mind my DH is out in Marble Falls working a shift and can't come to my rescue right away. Anyways I had to have my gallbladder removed NYE, but the could be good news is that if the procedure etc. is billed to me for 2010 DH and I are going to actively start trying to have a BABY!!! Holy Cow!!! I'm too excited. Sorry for such a long post, and thanks for listening!
