I will for tomorrow- my mom always did for us. But ours was the Epiphany/ Russian Orthodox Christmas (which is tomorrow) which we called Little Christmas. Don't tell... Liam is getting a Little People bulldozer thing! Did Loela get a gift?

I don't have kids, but H and I exchanged a little something.  I got a Nike+ for my new shoes and ipod.  I got him a DVD of his favorite guitarist.

Pretty much its when the Wise Men who followed the star met Sweet Baby Jesus.  Also bringing with them gifts.

I don't know about anyone else, but it is custom in hispanic/Catholic homes to not remove Christmas decorations till after.

Ok so I totally got jipped as a kid because my parents never did this. AND we always took our decorations down the weekend of New Years. Dang.

Yes.  My MIL always says Christmas is not over until Epiphany, and you are NOT allowed to remove your decorations.  Of course, for us, that means they always stay up until almost February because we get too busy after the holidays to have time to take them down.

But, we don't do gifts on Epiphany.

 I have never heard of Epiphany. This is interesting. I will have to find out more...

Yeah my mom was really strict about this growing up. I can't take down the tree yet either- I'm not a strict Catholic, but its tradition. And I like the tree, too.?
