Teppan table place in NB?

My bff wants to go to dinner at a Benihana-style teppan table place for dinner tonight, but it needs to be in the NB area. Does anyone know of one besides Benihana? It seems like they are all in HB.

Not Teppan, but I've been wanting to try California Shabu Shabu over off of Baker. It's literally walking distance from my house! It has really great reviews on Yelp and great HH deals.

there's a tokyo table on alton and jamboree.  never been as i don't love teppanyaki, but my old dental hygienist used to rave about it every.single.time.

Ooo! I've been there! It's really nice and yummy, but I've never done the actual Teppan.

hmm.  maybe i completely misunderstood dental hygienist as it doesn't look like they actually have teppan from their website.  maybe she meant the hot stone dishes?  never mind.  that's what i get for giving secondhand info before checking. :P

I've had a hot stone dish and it was quite good. I think you may be right, but I'm not sure since there are quite a few rooms there.

Yeah, it seems most of the places I found on Yelp offered the hot stone dishes, but didn't have the actual teppan table.

yeah, it's in sunset.  I'd rec tuna town in main st, but again, it's in HB.  or even tsunami's.

This place is the bomb! I've been going there for my birthday for years. Very small, loud music and hip atmosphere. You'll love it Jess!
