Any cute ideas for baby shower decor?
We are going to do the baby clothes line thingy, and have blocks that spell some things out, like the baby's name on the tables, diaper cakes, etc. Any other cute ideas?
Thanks!!
Re: Any cute ideas for baby shower decor?
I was at a pickle and ice cream baby shower this summer. I was really cute.
The colors were pink and green. They had multiple little candy bowls on the tables with all different kind of pickles. The centerpieces were white carnations in a Ice Cream Cone Plastic Flower holder...with a paper cherry on top (looked like an ice cream cone). There was a ice cream sundae table, and the party gift (that the guests got to take home) were individual jars of ice cream topping (ie, carmel, chocolate, etc.). It was really cute. Hope this gives you some ideas.
Here are a few super easy and virtually free decor items:
-framed baby photos of mommy (and daddy)
-framed shower invitation
-bring in flowers or plants you might have in other parts of the house and tie a pretty ribbon around the vase
-have guests fill out note cards with advice for the mommy and hang them on the clothes line through out the shower
HTH!
Diaper cakes are usually cute and fun. For my SIL's baby shower, I also used baby food jars, that I'd removed the label from, popped a tea light inside and then tied a thin ribbon around the neck.
