Hi ladies!

Since many of you made your own beautiful invitations, I thought I'd look for help here.  When my daughter got her invitations, they printed the outside envelopes with the wrong ink.  So, they sent us another set.  So, I have 100 enveloped printed with our name and address!  I thought I would get some printable ivory greeting card/invite card stock and make my own greeting cards over the next year. 

The envelopes measure 7 7/8 by 5 1/2.  Where can I find either flat cards or foldable ones that will fit these envelopes and fill them...and without envelopes sold with them.  I'd appreciate any help I can get

I'd try craft stores first... like Michaels, Joann's, AC Moore and then you might also have luck at a place like Staples or Office Max.  GL!

You can probably find something that size at paper-source.com or at a paper-source store.

I did my invites myself and just bought regular sized cardstock from my local paper supply store and then trimmed down.  For the thank you's, they had pre-cut stuff thatI bought in packs of 100 and then just used my scoring setting on the paper cutter I got to crease it in the middle.  I added some cutsy monogram stuff to the front and voila - done.  I'm still getting tons of compliments on all our paper stuff.  HTH!

I used Paper Source for my invites but I've taken carstock jobs to a printer for work... they do it on a large piece then cut it down to the size I want.  Sometimes that works out cheaper depending on what you can find on sale/clearance at other places.

That size is called A7 and you can find ready-made flat or folded cards in that size at Michael's, Archivers, Paper Source, etc.  Michaels has a new line of paper in their wedding invite aisle called Mix + Mingle.  Archivers has a line called Yours Truly.  They're sold in sets of 10, so if you want to go the cheaper route I'd recommend buying larger size card stock cutting it down, scoring it, then folding as pp suggested.  I like getting mine from paperandmore dot com.  Be sure to get card stock at least 80# weight or higher- anything less than that will be pretty flimsy.
