I need some help but apparently.....
this board sucks hehe. too bad.
Anyways, wondering if any of you girls have some non - alcoholic fun drinks. I got two nice spigot (yea, too me a long time to figure out what that was too) jugs. They are the glass jugs with a spout at the bottom. I want to make a couple different drink and have them look pretty, thinking of sliced fruit inside or something.
Any ideas welcome.
Thanks ladies.

(this posted weird the first time; it's fixed now )
lemon cordial:
Make up a simple sugar syrup. Generally, this is half sugar and half water, so if you use two cups of water, use two cups of sugar. Having said that though, when I make a syrup, I usually reduce the sugar, play around with it to see how you like it. Boil the water and sugar together, stir to dissolve the sugar and let it cool.
Add the lemon juice. Add 50% juice to 50% sugar syrup. Make this mixture up and store it in a bottle in the fridge.
To make up the drink: in a tall glass, add ? glass, or less, of cordial (according to your taste) and fill the glass with cold water. Add ice cubes and mint if you have it growing. The cordial will keep for about one month in the fridge.
4 family-size tea bags
2-2/3 c sugar
1 handful fresh mint
1 c fresh lemon juice
1-1/2 c orange juice
1 liter bottle ginger ale Boil water. Pour over tea bags and let stand for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and add mint & sugar. When cool, add lemon & orange juices. Just before serving, add ginger ale. Pour over ice* and garnish with mint leaves. Serves 20-25 *One more thing, it?s best when served over crushed ice (like the kind you get at Sonic!)!!
ohhh jacki, that tea sounds really yummy.

My girls served it at my bachelorette party-- I am not much of a drinker but it also tasted good with rum or tequila in it!
