I have convinced a coworker that I am missing 4 toes on one of my feet. I was showing a coworker that I can fold my toes under my foot, leaving only my big toe exposed. Nosey coworker walked by and asked what happened. I said it was a tragic lawnmowing accident.
I thought he understood that I was joking but he didn't. He went on a tangent about how his mother was right about the danger of lawn mowers, etc, etc.
So never mind I dont have a limp, wear special shoes or have any other physical manifestation of a foot disabily. Did I mention he's a doctor?
So my plan is that when Spring comes I will wear open toe shoes and explain I got a toe transplant from a cadaver and that the plastic surgeon was so good that he didn't leave any scars. My co-workers want in on my joke.
Re: cruel? perhaps, but funny
With the added funny that your co-workers want to help with the follow-up. Those are the co-workers everyone needs.
I love Busy.
I know someone who lost a bunch of toes in a lawn mower accident. Smartest guy in the world, except when it comes to lawn mowers apparently.
I just a friendly gal looking for options.
I will have to take a picture of my stupid human trick and post it for you ladies.
Yes. Please do.
I think it's awesome that you're planning this all out for the future.
::giggles::
I love it.
