FYI Locavores: The Locavore Way (book)

I heard an interview on my local radio station yesterday with Amy Cotler. She recently published a book called The Locavore Way: Discover and Enjoy the Pleasures of Locally Grown Food. The book looks like it has a lot of great tips on how to buy, grow, and eat locally. Recipes, too.

I can't find the interview online just yet, but I thought I'd at least post the book link and also a link to her recipe blog. I really enjoyed the interview!

  • Thanks! Adding to my goodreads list!

LOL...kinda funny that the first thing on her blog is making truffles with Belgian chocolate! She did find local vanilla though, and I think its pretty impossible to find truly local chocolate.

Her blog has some good links too.

  • Very cool, Thanks!  I will see if my library has a copy of the book--sounds interesting!
