Playgroups in Milwaukee/Tosa area?

I am looking for something to do with my 9-month old son that will get us out of the house and get some interaction! (With babies and with moms I was thinking of doing the Gymboree gym membership but it's a little expensive. Maybe someone knows of a playgroup or mom's group in the area? Thank you!

Hi.  There are quite a few of us from Tosa who meet up every Tues at the Downtown Central Library.  They have a really great playgroup from 9:30 to 11:30 every Tues in the Children's Area.  They do a half hour of songs and books and then they bring out toys for the kids to have free play.  They also provide a snack.  It's a great way to meet other moms and get out of the house.  I hope you can come!

If you go to meetup.com there is a Milwaukee Moms Meet up that always has stuff going on I usually take the girls I nanny for on a few of the meet ups and they love it. Everyone is really nice and there's a huge age range. Also if you look on Milwaukeemoms.com there is a meet up section on there. Let me know if you need any help.

Thank you both! MrsErickson: is it ok to bring Owen even though he is only 9 months? Would that be weird?? Sounds like fun!

You would be more than fine bringing him to the library!  There are quite a few kids who are right around a year or younger.  My younger daughter is only 5 months and she loves it.  I actually really like that the age range is so large because then you can do it for almost two years!  We had to miss it this morning because of a dentist appointment but we will be there next week!
