One thing that excites me about a new job
I could possibly work in an office again. I am actually a bit jealous of all of you. It gets lonely at home at times, and traveling was never the same. I didn't get office Christmas parties, potlucks, or birthdays. I don't think anyone ever acknowledged my birthday in the years I worked at my last employer. And I miss baking treats to bring in to the office. People liked my pumpkin cheesecake at the holidays.
Re: One thing that excites me about a new job
I totally understand. This is the biggest school I've ever worked in, and it is nice to see so many people, and, therefore, avoid the people I don't like.
Baking is also a great treat. I've been getting requests for pumpkin cheeescake bars lately, but I didn't get them done during the holidays. I have everything but the pumpkin here at the house otherwise that would have been a perfect thing to do today.
