Hi, Ladies! I hope you are all doing very well. I check in here time to time (mostly to see how babyCam is doing 
), and there are lots of new "faces." It's nice to see the board moving and it's still the friendly place I remember.
Things are very good in Texas. DH and I finally bought a house in Austin. We will be closing in February. We are both very excited about the house and the city. We are anxious to get out of this apartment!!! My parents and my best friend are here in Houston. I wish I could pack them up and take them with us, but it is just a 3 hour drive - not bad.
I hope y'all had a great holiday and a fabulous start to 2010.

That's very exciting news! I'm glad you'll still be able to stay relatively close to your family and friends. Three hours isn't bad at all.

I, too, would love to see pics of the new house if you don't mind sharing. I'm sure it's a mansion, as things in any part of Texas are still significantly cheaper than real estate here
Are you guys going to have to find new jobs since you're leaving Houston?
