my tree is still up

anyone else? i took the ornaments down and packed everything up on New Years Day, but i haven't actually taken the tree itself down for storage. i got side tracked with other things i guess.

That is definitely a project that has to be completed this weekend.  Seriously, where does the time go??!

My little tree AND my lights are still up, ornaments and all!

My brother is coming into town on Friday Jan. 15th for the weekend and we are having a small "Christmas" get-together (I'm so excited!) so I'll be leaving up all my decorations until later that week.

We didn't have a tree since we were out of town this year, but we still have candles in the windows. I packed away most of the other stuff, but I've been sick, so I don't feel like being bothered. I'll finish eventually.

Oh, my house is still 100% Christmas-ized.  We thought last weekend was too soon, but it seems this weekend is too late.  There's no good answer!

My tree is still up and there are still lights on outside of our house. I know we need to take them down, but can't seem to find the time.

Mine is still up, too. I've taken down the ornaments and all other decorations except the tree and the wreaths on my window. . .planning on doing that now.

all of our stuff is still up....Dh refuses to let go of Christmas this year! It's fine though because I will miss it all once it's gone.  I think this weekend it will all come down and I will be sad.

We follow the tradition of leaving the tree up until the Epiphany, which was yesterday.  However, I won't have time to take it down until Sunday, so it will stay up until then!  I didn't turn on the lights tonight, though.

I feel so much better!  We still have everything up, and one present under the tree!  (we'd accidently left it there when we left town, so had to buy another gift to replace it)  We had guests over Wednesday, and it was embarassing, but I played it off like I totally meant to have the tree still up.  I even turned the lights on!

I guess I know what I'll be doing tonight...

I have an excuse (brother is coming this weekend for "Christmas")... but, seriously, I think it'd still be up regardless. :P

I was actually productive this weekend; I know, it's a shock!  The tree is down and put away.  The Christmas cards are gone.  All new and old decorations are nicely stored in the attic.  I even attempted to clean our basement.  Notice I said attempted.  I still have a lot to do down there!!
