Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

EF class project

For one of my classes, we have to do a community based project that focuses on community safety or increasing EF awareness. None of my classmates are too EF, so I was expecting to do a safety project. One of my classmates doesn't have recycling in her apartment complex. We decided our project would be to see if adding recycling bins would increase recycling at her complex.

I'm stoked that everyone is on board with this. We've already brainstormed how to take baseline and run the project. Everyone but her has recycling where they live, so we don't have to waste time/gas on driving to a center.

In case this doesn't work out, anyone have any ideas on other EF community projects we can do?

Re: EF class project

  • What about introducing people to community gardening?

How about a project that teaches kids composting with worms? I think kids would really get into the worms.  I am 40 and completely fasciated with mine!
