projects

I made a list of projects I want to get done this year (stuff around the house).  I'm doing one right now - I'm painting two rectangles on our pantry door with chalkboard paint.  Then I'm going to nail on some flat white wood molding around the edges.  The top part is where we'll jot down stuff for a grocery list and the bottom one will be for Elise to scribble on.

Hope it comes out as cute in real life as I'm picturing in my mind!

Re: projects

  • That sounds really cute.  I've always been amazed at how you can "paint" on a chalkboard.

  • Can't wait to see how it comes out! You said you got the chalkboard paint by the spray paint? What was it called? Aside from chalkboard paint :) The brand name I mean!

I have been looking forever for it and if I find some I'm going to make a chalkboard for my kitchen this weekend.

  • BFF painted the back of her bedroom door in chalkboard paint in high school. It was a fun idea.
