Recommend your...dentists!

I'm willing to travel to all parts of Portland if they're good! I have a small looming feeling I may be needing my wisdom teeth extracted (all of them). Yuck! So...I need to suck it up and call a dentist here to get a consult.

Better yet-recommend your dentist/oral surgeon that did your widom teeth extraction!

Not Smiles Northwest in Beaverton.  They have a cool micro-ultrasonic tool that they use to clean your teeth instead of the metal tools which is neat.  But they are kind of pushy and try to sell you things.  Like both Jeff and I "need" to get some sort of gum irrigation several times so we don't end up with gum disease.

I love Green Apple Dental downtown. Dr Kim spent a lot of time in mouth (I've also dealt with 2 other dentists there, but their names escape my mind at the moment). Staff is great, held my hand/reassured me through my panic attack during my 2+ hour root canal+ fillings + crowns during multiple appointments. I LOVE going to the dentist- I like to ask for a mirror so I can watch what they're doing; but the 2+ hour procedure definitely freaked me out and my mouth was TIRED! Flexible hours, and I think the parking is free in the garage when you get validated.

They offer paraffin wax for your hands, aromatherapy and music to down out the instruments but I don't care for those because I'm afraid of the germs. :X

I have to 2nd green apple as well. I haven't personally been there yet but will after the baby comes. But about 50 people at work do, including my best friend and I've heard nothing but rave reviews of their service

Dr. JP Malmquist! He did my wisdom teeth in march of last year! I was terrified of having my teeth removed. TERRIFIED. However they made it work wonderfully for me. He's great and so is his staff!

I can't recommend one - but I can say who NOT to go to.  Dr. Daniel Blickenstaff on Saltzman.  HORRIBLE!  He tried to sell me InvisAlign for several months even after knowing that I was not approved for it, and overcharged me for several services.  I was very unimpressed with their office and staff after going there for a few visits.

I'm a little late on this, but I work for Oswego Dental Care in Lake Oswego. This is going to sound biased, but the dentist I work for a is a really great guy. He's awesome at what he does. I'm not going to lie he's a pretty big nerd, but I think that's why people like him. As for the wisdom teeth we refer to (and he did my wisdom teeth extractions) Dr. Rodich in West Linn. He's sort of an odd guy, but he's a really good oral surgeon. GL!

I love Dr. Walker at Murray Scholls Dental in Beaverton; he single-handedly got me over my phobia of dentists, lol.

Oh yeah, wisdom teeth.  My guy is in Gresham and although I highly reccommend them, that's a long way to drive.  My periodontist is out there, too, and he's worth the drive, he's renowned for his surgery practice and his patient care.  He made me feel at ease with even the most painful surgery I've had!
