I had my baby! It's a.......
GIRL! Olivia Joy Born July 28, 2008 (the day after my b-day) 3:01pm 7 pounds 2 ounces 20 1/2 inches long What an experience. Started laboring at home Sunday @1pm. Went into hospital that night at around 2:45am. I was already 4cm and 75% effaced when I got to the hospital. I went up to 7cm and 100% effaced without any drugs. Then I got an epidural since the contractions at that point were unbareable for me. When I got to 9 1/2 cm I could not get to 10cm for nothing! It took hours! So they gave me Pitocin for that last 1/2 cm. Her heart rate was dropping like crazy and she was facing the wrong way so doctor manually put her face down. I finally reached 10cm and it was time to finally push. I pushed for 40 minutes and she was finally out with assistance of vaccum and episiotomy. We are all doing fine and got home last night. The episiotomy I am not so thrilled about since I am not fond of the feeling of recovery for that but I am sure I will get over it soon. Just wanted to let you all know I finally had her!

P.S. I didn't need to hear about the episiotomy. That totally freaks me out about labor
