Due to my addiction to ...

baby girl clothing, I am going to start doing a significant amount of shopping at Mother and Child.  I was at BRU today for diapers and diaper sacks as well as a few new toys, and saw the most adorable little outfits that were just stocked.  I had to walk away.  I would have bought several.  So off to M&C we go ...

Re: Due to my addiction to ...

  • I also have an addiction to buying Brianna clothes!! I have found that Target and BRU have some of the cutest!!    I have never been to Mother & Child.. is there one in Merrimack?
  • HAHA.. I hear that. I cannot help buying clothes for Lily all the time. I love old navy, they are nice and cheap. I usually get a lot of stuff at the end of each season on the clearence rack. I guesstimate her sizes. Good luck at M&C, my SIL loves that place.
  • Mother and Child is definitely the way to go - especially with a young baby....most babies do that age is spit up on things that are considered "gently used" and Mother and Child carries a ton of stuff...check out The Children's Orchard on 101A (across from Building 19) as well - last time I was in there (it's a tiny place) they were having a clearance sale and I saw a bunch of cute outfits for $1.99 each! Of course I didn't buy any but they looked brand new too...
  • It's not just the girl clothes- I am a mess when it comes to buying clothes for Ben. ?Probably why I haven't spent a cent on my self in ages!! ?I only shop clearance or sales & coupons, but lots of other people like to buy him clothes. ?There are MANY outfits he never even got to wear or wore once. ?I have learned that I really prefer the one piece rompers, so a lot of the short sets I got were barely used. ?Also, I LOVE overalls on baby boys, but the only time he has worn them were on his monthly pics! ?If we have another baby, it's gonna be all about the comfy outfits ?(yeah, right...I say that now...)!
  • I love M&C!!! THey have some awesome clothes, some barely used at all, and top name brands!! I've picked up some great clothes there for Jordan for dirt cheap!! Have fun!!!!
  • M&C is great!  My DH is in there all the time because he works in Merrimack.  They must know him in there by now.  I can imagine there aren't too many shopaholic dads!

  • I've been to mother & child a few times and they have good stuff. My personal vice is ebay Smile Baby clothes are so much fun!
  • OMG seriously I know what you mean!  I wandered over to the girls section and saw some of the most adorable little things!  I am loving all of Carter's brown and pink stuff!  And then they have some gorgeous dresses...I told Rob we definately need to have a girl someday!  Did you end up going to Mother and Child?  I really wish we had a nice 2nd hand store around here!  A girlfriend of mine brings all her daughter's stuff to one in VT and if you feel like I trip you  should check it out haha b/c she dresses her so frigin cute!

  • You'll find lots there..... I know that we do!!
