Hey Knot Annie and Knot Jen. I have been frequenting a website (Get Satisfaction) for another online community I participate in, and it seems like it would be a great fit for The Knot(/Nest/Bump), both the boards and the site. It's a message board platform, but each post is set up as a Question, Idea, Problem, or Praise. It's a great way for customers to interact with the company, get solutions to problems, suggest ideas, and promote overall collaboration within people in the community.
Could be a good way for people to vent about the new format and remain active versus leaving, or suggest improvements for the site. Also great for you all at The Knot to both see what people are saying in one consolidated location and interact with your users. You can both respond and post things with "Problem Solved"/provide solutions, which goes a long way when an employee speaks directly to the customer!
Pretty cool for an out-of-the-box platform for you to interact with customers in a place that's meant for collaboration. I use it with Foursquare, and they are GREAT about communicating with users but also promoting the Get Satisfaction site on their own homepage to gather feedback. Says a lot that the company is actively trying to improve itself!
