Re: looking for pediatrician in Vancouver, WA
Hi there! Our family goes to Family Physicians Group off 164th & McGilvray. We all see different providers, but Ella sees Jennifer Platz. I like them because it has a lab and x-ray in the clinic and you can get a same day appointment when your kids are sick.
Good luck!

We take DD to Kathleen Hutchinson at the Evergreen Pediatric Clinic on NE 87th & Mill Plain, next to SW Washington Medical Center. We love her & love the clinic. She's been very open & flexible with our concerns regarding vaccines, etc, and is very easy to work with - she makes me feel like my parental concerns are normal & not that of a crazy, overbearing mom! lol! We've met several drs there & have been impressed with each of them. I was referred there by several friends who all take their children to various physicians at the clinic.
They have great, flexible hours, are open M-F 8am-7pm, Sat & Sun have AM appts for urgent care, and have a 24 hr emergency answering service & are linked to the Medical Center & Imanuel Hosp in Portland for emergencies. They have a sick child waiting room so sick kids who are waiting to see the docs aren't intermingling with the kids there for well visits, and have a separate waiting area for teens who aren't down with hangin' with the babies. They just know kids, and I fully trust DD's care with them.
They have a new patient open house once a month where you get to meet a couple of docs, ask questions, receive a tour, etc. I went when I was about 6 months along with DD. You might want to look into that - after attending it I was sold. Good luck!
