GP reccs

Anybody have a genreal practitioner doctor that they would suggest? Thanks!

Re: GP reccs

  • I go to Dr. Geyer in South Austin.

I actually live north and still drive down to see him.

  • I really liked Dr. Jane Glawe at the ARC on S. 1st when I lived in Austin...I'll be going back to her when we move back! I felt like she really listened rather than just making up her mind before I hardly said anything and sending me out with medicine samples or something.
  • Dr. Dan R. Baker in Round Rock.

  • When I lived in Austin I loved loved loved Dr. Kim Bolton (guy) at the ARC on Far West.  However, he only works the emergency care now, so you have to just walk in and get him with no appointment :)  I love the ARC because all of their doctors work together, from GPs to specialists and all of their records are accessible by each other.  It makes it so very easy.  You can also get same day appointments without any problems at all.

  • Here's another vote for Austin Regional Clinic (ARC)! I switched to them about 2 years ago. I just made an online request for an appointment a little earlier tonight (for possible bronchitis?). I should know when my appointment is by noon tomorrow - via e-mail!
