Dog peeps-'Honest Kitchen': A++++!
You guys should totally try this. My dog can't easily digest anything, and he's doing great on this. We're even going to try decreasing the pancreas amount within the next few weeks.
The HK says its basically a raw diet in dehydrated form. I'm not sure if thats 100% true, but the dehydrating process means most of the natural enzymes and nutrients stay intact. Plus, it looks and smells like people food almost, not that nasty dog food smell. And all the ingredients are stuff i would eat-really important me.
You gotta try it!
Re: Dog peeps-'Honest Kitchen': A++++!
Love the website and it has great info.
Just curious, are you adding any other ingredients to the food after the hydration process or is it unnecessary?

I've heard of it but haven't tried it.
Is there a serving suggestion somewhere on the box or online?? I couldn't find it on their site.
Learning to start all over again... Blog
It is pricey-its about as much as Evo was before Leo got sick. If your dog isnt special needs and you're not looking for something close to raw, you can get quality like HK has to offer at a cheaper price-we really like California Natural for example. But this stuff is SO awesome, fresh and convenient-if you can afford it its so worth it
We're not adding any other ingredients aside from the pancreas-we're using the formula that is already all made up for you. Theres one where you add meat-it just comes with veggies and vitamins. We don't really need high protein though, so that ones not for us.
The serving suggestion is super easy-for every cup of food, you add 1.5 cups warm water and viola! You're done! Leo gets so excited for meal time now too
