ok so i did a wedding today for a bride that i just LOVE she was just wonderful and one of those brides that you become semi friends with. you want to go above and beyond just because you like this person so much.
so she loved loved loved her flowers, thank god ( i always get so nervous)
and then she told me she had a gift for the baby to be. last time we met i was semi showing and she asked so i told her i was pg...
so she hands me a card and a little gift bag. i felt so weird taking a gift from a bride to be.... so i take it thank her and put it in my truck with my dad and start setting up the ceremony site... do the reception, which was at jillians in manchester and btw what a cool cool idea! the guests had the reign of the place. free games, bowling and pool!
anyways... so i finish up there and then drive my dad to budweiser for the car show there today get home in my driveway and open the gift. $50 to babies r us!!!!!
im just floored right there. so i go to open the card and see its 2 different cards, first one i open is congrats on expecting...
second one is a thankyou card and she wrote the NICEST thank you! i was in tears reading it. and to boot there was a $100 bill in there! my jaw dropped to say the least and i do not know what to do with myself.
the biggest tip i have ever gotten was $5.00 and i was thrilled with that. florist never get tipped and thats totally fine with me, were paid to do a service. i own my own company. i would have never ever ever expected this,
i have to see them again because they have my pedistals so i will have a huge thank you for them in person. but i am just completely floored by this., it was just so unexpected....

Are you only doing "weddings" or do you do day to day things too? I want to arrange to have something put together for my MIL for when the baby is born. I think it is going to be a hard time for her since my FIL isnt around anymore. I think she might like it. Anyways.... let me know!
