I thought of Busy yesterday when I was at Borders. There was a book all about gross stuff. It was titled something like "Do fish fart? That and other answers to life's grossest questions." I skimmed through it and some of that isht was really gross.
I thought of y'all when I picked up the book that had all the Darwin award winners and their stories. That was funny (and a little gross too).
I worked Sat., went shopping (got some great deals!), and then we went over to the neighbors to watch football. Yesterday, I went shopping and did laundry. Pretty boring...Until I sliced my finger open making dinner. It's not cute.

How bad of a slice was it? Like stitches-bad or band-aid bad?
I had lunch with a certain Butter Cookie, which was fun.
And scoured the city to find a 12M winter coat for DD. She waited until all the spring stuff was in stores to hit another growth spurt and outgrow her 9M coat. I finally ended up buying her an 18M out of desperation. Six months old, and she's growing into 12M clothes.
Tried to stay warm.
Got along w/DH.
Band-aid bad, but I'm going to have to keep a close eye on it. No infections please.
YAY for lunch w/ButterCookie.
Friday - We took son to dinner at a Japanese restaurant. He had never seen the hibachi and he thought it was super cool.
Saturday - Son had a basketball game in the morning. He was awesome. We had another Xmas with some of my family that afternoon.
Sunday - I went to the baby shower. I made her a diaper cake and it was a big hit. And DD was the star of the party. I feel like a huge thunderjacker.
My weekend was fairly uneventful. Lazy day on Saturday, with only a quick Target run. Yesterday Mr.Arb put up some framed art that we got from other people as wedding gifts, and we cleaned out about 1/2 of the computer room - that room has mostly turned into a storage space, so it was nice to make a dent in it.
Last night I also prepped all the meat and veggies to put into the slow cooker this morning for my first attempt at beef stew. So, we'll see how it turns out when I get home.
Saturday, I took Toby to the vet to get his butt squeezed, nails trimmed, and get his records wrapped up. I'm going to miss our vet - they're awesome.
That night, we packed up and went to a big extended family Xmas party, even though it was -3. Ended up having a good time. A cousin latched on to me and wouldn't leave me alone and oh-ho-ho boy did she tell some doozies. I'll post those in a bit.
Yesterday, MIL and I did some shopping. Came home, made pizza, then crashed. Except I couldn't sleep. Reminds me - I need to go get some caffeine.

We went to a hockey game Friday, got up and drove to the IL's Saturday, came back Sunday. H and Autumn went to another hockey game Sunday afternoon and I got caught up on work.
Super boring but at least it was drama free.
I got to hang out with Heffa on Saturday. We partied hard, stole a few things from the mall, and drank till we passed out. Or, we might have just had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. It was fun:) No pics, because neither of us (nor her adorable daughter) are real.
I'm not feeling so hot today. I'm drinking a coke in hopes it'll cure what ails me.
If the coke doesn't work, try a slice of tuxedo cheesecake. Unless "tuxedo cheesecake" makes you :X. In which case, disregard.
I forgot to mention: I stole that 18M coat. Yeah.
Saturday I basically invited myself to watch SIL put on wedding dresses at DB. Listened to MIL talk about what color she could wear...what douchenozzle. ::eyeroll:: Then we went to Avatar and a late dinner. It was an awesome date. Followed by snuggling with the dogs in bed.
Sunday was a lot of nothing, though I did manage to help make a friend laugh when she's not so happy and did laundry. Those are two wins.
