Still need some planning help! Bday!!!

I am in need of some assistance please!

 

I posted something similar a week or two back, but I think I might go a different route.

 

I'm turning 30 the end of the month, and trying to decided what I want to do.  I'm going on a cruise in honor of my bday, but that isn't until the end of Feb so I figured I'd do something my bday weekend.

 

I know that Friday I'll probably have a gathering at the house with light food, cake, and ice cream.  On Saturday, I was thinking about having the girls over for an in home wine tasting.  I also wanted to add more to the agenda, but this is kind of the place where I get lost! Ha!

 

I could bring in someone to do massages like I did last year, but that kind of got expensive because I paid for everyones massage.  It also is kind of hard for me because all of my friends are from different circles, and don't all know each other.

 

Any ideas?? TIA

Do you like Karaoke? I did my Bday a few months back at a Karaoke Bar. We had a private room with finger food and drinks. I sent everyone home with a cup cake from a local bakery. A majority of the guest had not done Karaoke and really enjoyed themselves. We have some really funny pictures from the night. Since you are going to be home maybe you can rent a Karaoke machine. You did mention massages and the fact that it was pricey. Do you have a local SPA school? If so maybe you can get some of the soon to graduate students come and give your girls and you pedi's. HTH...have fun on your cruise!

One of my girlfriends did a casino night for us. Her H was the dealer for Poker. You could also do an array of games, Scene It, Scattories, CatchPhrase, etc. . .

If you were willing to go out, you could go take a cooking class together and do a wine tasting maybe before or after.  I really like the wine tasting idea, though.

A little bit of a different idea.. but just throwing it out there. Is there a Lucky Strike Bowling Lanes anywhere near you?? It sounds weird.. but at least at the Lucky Strike bowling alleys.. they have a private VIP room you can rent and have your own bar tender, lanes, and even passed h'orduerves. It's great! All of them have really neat decor too.. think VIP Club lounge.
