Hello! Work has been 8 shades of a obnoxious. It's been a rainbow of "Ugh".
Dinner went great and Mom was fine with TGI Fridays. It turned out we had a room off to the side by ourselves and the waitress was super good (like I'm going to write to TGI Fridays kind of good). I think mom was very impressed my stepdad wrangled her friends to come AND he went and got a cake from the baker who did our wedding cake and it was beautiful.
My mom did make a comment along the lines of, "I was like 'Greeeeat lets go to TGI Fridays.' And then I walked in and everyone was there so I didn't care anymore."
I did make DH go cancel the other reservation at Cutillo's because I felt bad doing it.
