My student teacher starts tomorrow.  I'm hoping for a good one.  The last one I had wasn't a good one and the one before that was great! 

She seems like she'll be fun.  She's rather bubbly and I think that's good for the grade level.  Gotta have lots of enthusiasm to make it here.  Hopefully she can fit right into the classroom.

I always knew how good my friend's student teacher was by how often he would visit it me! He's had some good ones, and some real duds. Hope yours turns out great!

Sounds like she'll be a neat addition to the classroom, and maybe she'll even have some good ideas. Let's hope she can relate to 7/8th graders, and bring it to their level.

Haha - SO true!  LOL.  I think she'll be just fine.  Her personality sounds like a good fit.  Only time will tell.

So far so good.  I know it's only the first day but I think she'll be fine.  She seems enthusiastic about stuff.  I gave her something I did in a professional development class and asked if she could turn it into an activity to do in class.  I wanted to start her off with something because she's just going to shadow and get to know the kids the next 2 weeks.  I figure planning out this activity would be a good lesson plan for her.  Plus it's a topic that she'll be covering during solo week.
