Dress Shopping

It was okay.  I still felt like the consultant was too off in orbit and too stretched but luckily we were pushy enough to just grab the dresses that were left for SIL and other SIL helped her a ton.  She settled on this dress:

It wouldn't be my choice, but it was the dress that made SIL smile and she looked beautiful in it.  :)

Of course, the best part was MIL talking about what SHE would wear and blah blah blah.  gMIL said something like, "those wouldn't be the colors I would choose".  In turn I said, "If you had your choice, it would all be blue!".  Oops.

Re: Dress Shopping

  • That is a pretty dress.  The skirt is pick-uppy but not obnoxiously so, IMO.
  • She's just so pretty, that pretty much any dress would look good on her.  I think she's going to purchase it this upcoming weekend.  I mean...where else will she find a dress for $600 that she likes that much.

  • That's a good price for a wedding dress and if it's right, it's right.  She just needs to not look anymore.  Because you can always find something you like better if you keep looking.  That's how people end up 2 (or 23) dress brides.
  • That's the exact thing I told her.  Buy it and don't look anymore.
