It was my first time to the outlets there and I have to say I was pretty happy with the merchandise.
My main beef (and I will be contacting someone at Carter's about this because i'm pretty peeved) is that I had some coupon issues that cost me to spend $40 more than I anticipated spending. I still dispute what the cashier said but due to my buying so much that I overloaded the computer int he cash register, I didn't want to torture those behind me in line anymore.
Between Carter's, the Gymboree outlet, and the OshGosh and Stride Rite ones, Alex and Molly are DONE for clothing for the fall/winter. All Alex needs is a winter coat and boots when the time comes! There are a few things that I can pick up for Molly (bibs, socks, burpcloths) along the way, but I was able to get her sleepers and gowns and that stuff she's going to live in for the first few months. I was really happy. I also got some great deals on summer clearances for Molly for next year in Gymboree and Carter's, which is great!
My MIL and I went up with JoyLoveRings and her mama yesterday and aside from a horrendous wait for lunch, we had such a nice time. (I also think it was really good for MIL to get out for the day and forget about FIL for a little while) I even got a chance to commune with Eve. She's a big fan of Itsy Bitsy Spider and even gave me kisses. So, we're buddies.
Re: very productive trip to Tilton yesterday
I envy you. I wish I had the guts to buy a season ahead . . . I screw up the sizing every time I try.
Glad you had a good time!
I am hopeful, Becky! I'm going off of Alex's growth. I feel really safe with the 6-12 mos items, but not every store works that way. Other than that I got 9 months for summer and i'm hoping for the best!
Carter's and Osh-Gosh had a ton of fall/winter out. I was very happy.
