My grandma's funeral is going to be a grave-side service on Friday. Outside. In Chicago. With ~8 inches of snow on the ground. I can't wear my suit because my pants are too short to wear with anything but ballet flats. I have no winter dresses, no appropriate shoes to wear with a dress for winter, and no time to order any that might fit.
I have one pair of pants long enough that's a gray herringbone that I can wear with my black boots. Is it ok to wear them with a turquoise v-neck sweater or should I buy a button-up blouse? Suit jacket does not match my gray pants at all. Is that dressy enough? DH is wearing his black suit.
Re: Is this ok to wear?
That sounds find to me. I say dress for the weather.
Sorry to hear about your grandmother.
