Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

We'll see how long it lasts though. Apparently the guy who came out to hook up the cable internet, took off the cable filter. It looks like poo, b/c it's just basic. I also have some guilt about getting free cable. I feel like this will come haunt me if/when I ever make it through law school and need to get admitted to the bar.
DH watched 1/2 an hour and came back into the study to announce he'd rather watch Alton Brown on the internet, sans commercials. It hasn't been back on so far.

I just a friendly gal looking for options.
They can only filter so much when they install the internet - most places, you'll get cable up to Channel X, and anything higher than that is blocked by the filter.
I've never known a cable company to be able to block all signals and only give you internet, so I wouldn't feel badly about it.
