SHOE

Hey I just read your blog post. Jamie and I saw this really really cute hot air balloon mobil at a place call A Simpler Time at the Riverwalk in New Orleans. (I could buy that whole store, btw) I'm in hot pursuit of a picture of it for you. Not sure if you like that kinda thing, but it was awesome and was in pastel colors.

Re: SHOE

  • BEAR!  It's been far too long since I've seen J-squared.  Just saying...

That sounds farking awesome.  I never thought about hot-air balloons but OMG, how cute would that be?  I'm actually not looking for anything real specific.  Something that matches color wise would be great but I'm pretty open to the design.  I am shying away from birds b/c I think they look girly but otherwise, I am totally open.

Find the pic and send it to me.  And maybe I'll share my lasagna.

  • I vote floating shelves next on one side of the window with a cute framed art on the other side. You will have LOTS to put on the shelves - pictures, certificates, and other little trinkets you want to display.

Do you know anyone who could make curtains for you from sheer yellow and white fabric? Or could you dye the white panels to a pastel yellow?

  • MIL has a good friend who would do it for me but I'd really rather just buy them.  I think it'll be easier.  I never thought about dying them though.  ::taps chin thoughtfully::  That could work...

Most sheers are acetate or polyester and you can't dye them. You can only dye natural fabrics. So I don't think that will work.
