s/o SIL gossip

BIL and SIL quit house hunting because her credit is shot and they have too much debt.  SIL's facebook today

"Car shopping is fun!"

They have 2 relatively new cars.  This will be the 5th car they've purchased in under 4 years.  There haven't been any accidents.

Re: s/o SIL gossip

  • People never get it.

BIL told H that he wants to get rid of his diesel truck because he's hardly in town and doesn't want it to sit.  He was upside down when he got the truck, and hasn't had it more than 2.5 years (if that).  H asked if he had money to make up the difference in the loans.

BIL was all, "they'll just add it to the new loan!".  H was very doubtful they still did that.

  • Once again, the delusionals have a better life than I do. H and I have talked for over a year about me trading my car in for a new one. My car is completely paid off, and the current trade-in value is only a couple K lower than the car I want. So technically we could do it without a problem, but I just can't justify getting a new car when mine runs perfectly fine, and the car I want is pretty impractical. But if I could disconnect my common sense I'd be in a new car tomorrow.

  • Our cars may not be fancy, but they are low mileage and PAID FOR Toyota's.  We plain on keeping them until they day- probably 10 years.
