A veggie garden without a garden?
We just bought a new home in October and had wanted to do a big garden. Well the probability of that actually happening this spring is pretty slim now with being pregnant. Our deck however has 4 huge square planters, could I plant some veggies in those? If so, what grows well in a container?

Re: A veggie garden without a garden?
You can. Tomatoes, herbs, lettuces, radishes, carrots.
Oh you are my hero! You just listed EVERYTHING that I was wanting to grow!!!! Its a done deal, we are doing a container garden!!! Now to keep the dogs away from them ;-)
I did some container gardening last year. You'll need to put your plants where they'll get ample light and you'll need to water more often. Containers dry out faster than plants grown directly in the ground. Also, be sure to move your containers when there is a storm with strong winds. My tomato plants suffered greatly when I forgot to move them. I had a lot of broken limbs thanks to high winds during storms. So, what I'd do is move the pots closer to a wall before a storm.
