Someone on 6-12 has a baby named Shaelagh. I have no idea how to pronounce it. I squinted at a little while and thought maybe it was Gaelic, but Google suggests otherwise.

I'm really glad I'm not a teacher, because kids' names would throw me. I'd be like, "Really? That's supposed to be _______? Well, I'll just call you Beth, k?"
Re: s/o names
Hefffa, I mess up kid names everyday. I'm always impressed with the person calling out the names at graduations.
I would never have that job.
I know of a name: Laoghaire. It's pronounced "Leery." Scottish Gaelic.
