About the horrible pet owner post...

Since I think this started over here...

and got dropped by a troll on our board...figured I'd share.

Re: About the horrible pet owner post...

  • Thank You & Thank you for actually making sense instead of acting like "know it all" like the rest of the people & bashing her for doing the right thing!

This should not have been CP onto every board for 1 thing but that troll has been doing this for months to us with everything that we write & I got the same flame for asking peoples opinions on putting my dog down when he bit me.

I feel like punching them off their high horses! & To actually make a reference or question her motherhood skills because of her judgement to find her dog a good home is really low!

  • I second the Thank you!  I just wish you were here to help beat down the idiots!
  • Thanks for posting this. Mega got a horrible bashing when NO ONE - not even US - know her situation. That troll was an absolute @$$ who didn't care what happened to the dog. He/She just cared about making someone's life miserable and make them feel worse.

Things change in life. She made the right decision about her dog and that has NOTHING to do with her motherhood skills.

I have a dog. I love my dog. If you remember, I had quite a few posts about our decision to get a dog. We thought about it and considered everything because I could never give my dog away. But that was MY HUBBY AND I'S choice to think it out. No one knows Mega's situation. She had a choice to make and she did and she found her dog a good home. No one has the right to judge her on that.

  • Thank you for giving an unbiased, sensible, logical viewpoint on the matter.  I also agree that everyone should keep their commitments but sometimes things you cannot control happen and you have to find the best way to fix it.

In her situation that was best for her family and nobody else has the right to wish her death, and talk crap about her kids, and all that horrible mess just because they don't agree with it.  Talk about extreme!

Again, thanks for giving a smart well thought out view rather than an extreme emtional irrational view from all those crazy pet people.

  • By the way, her staying home with her children instead of putting them in daycare is a very rare thing these days. Good for her!

Sorry that you care about your dog more then your kids. I love my dog - A LOT - I get teary eyed when I have to take him to the vet and he gets shots - but it's still a pet!

  • I'm glad some one came to realize that maybe what she doing isn't sooo horrible.

The comments to her were WAY out of line!

  • Your efforts are much appreciated!
