Jessica Biel, Emile Hirsh - Summit on the Summit
Has anyone heard about this? This group, including Biel, scientists, musicians, is hiking Mt Kilamanjaro to raise awareness of the water crisis and how climate change could melt this glacier in as little as 20 years.

My girlfriend actually completed this hike a few months ago - its challenging but totally doable when you consider there are porters carrying most of your essentials. My GF and I are planning a trip ourselves - her husband had already summited Kili and my husband has no interest in doing so. I want to witness the Furtw?ngler Glacier before it disappears entirely.

Summit is miffed they didn't take her to Summit on the Summit. She could be Summit on the Summit on the Summit and totes be world famous!
Seriously, though, that's pretty cool. Seeing as how I die when I hike at Mt. Hood I have a lot of respect for them!
