Kiffin to USC

I'm not sure how I feel about this... but it sure is funny!

Re: Kiffin to USC

  • Smart move, USC.  Stick out tongue  I just hope they were savvy enough to get Daddy Kiffin as part of the deal.

  • The way I see it, he kinda had to.  Half his team is in jail, aren't they?  Or at least half the practice squad!

He's got his work cut out for him.  And I LOOOOOVE Monte Kiffin because he's a Husker. :)

I bet the powers that be at TN are piiiiiiiiiiiiissed!

Thank you! Yay for Gator babies!

  • Love how he accused Urban Meyer of cheating and lying and he's the one who lied to his incoming recruits. Freakin love it. I guess if he can't beat the SEC, his best option was to bolt to a weaker conference. LOL

  • I suffer from loyalty and honesty issues...I like loyalty and I like honesty

so does it surprise me that USC picks yet again another coach with neither....nope....they didn't trade up with Kiffin for Carroll they made a lateral move

  • I like that it took USC less than a day to make the decision.  I wonder how long this has been in the works.

I share these sentiments as well.  I call what Kiffin and Carroll do "Selling out."

Oh.. my... GOD.  If I was a Vols fan I'd be SO embarassed!

  • I guess Mr. Kiffin just couldn't run with the big dogs in the SEC. I'm sure USC will be riddled with scandal in no time at all.
  • The thing is everything basically comes down to money. In the old days, you needed to be a pro coach to make the big bucks. Now you make a ton of change in the collegiate ranks as well. I can see where a college professor would get very upset that the head football or basketball coach is making a ton more than they are. The day and age of college coaching staying at one school forever is pretty much over. Because the money is so big, college coaches are basically free agents that go to the highest bidder. If you want purity in sports go down to the high school level or even a level below that (high school sports is often about how much money you contribute to the booster club).
