Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Huge pet peeve

I have an employee here that forwards me emails that need to be addressed with literally no explanation. He will send them and expect me to go through pages and pages of back and forth to extract the issue that needs to be addressed. I've explained to him that it's time consuming for me and he keeps doing it. So, I just sent an email (quasi-nasty) explaining that forwarded emails without any explanation will be regarded as accidental and deleted immediately.

  • Ha!!  Excellent. 

    I have people that do this to me, too.  And half the time, they reference an attachement somewhere along the way that is no longer attached.

  • I only do that if someone requests that I forward an email on such and such an issue. Otherwise, of course they need an explanaition! Duh.

  • Even then I'll put "Below please find the email you requested regarding XYZ"

    SOMETHING... but that I can understand. These emails are heads-up emails in case he needs me to refer to them later. Uh. No. I'm not wading through hours of emails for one stupid thing.
