I got married a month ago and its time ti change my name. I want to keep my maiden last name, but i am not sure which goes first My husbands last name or my maiden last name?

Your maiden last names goes first followed by (or hyphenated) your husband's last name.
If you have no middle name (or want to have more than one), you can also choose to include your maiden name as a middle name and then just keep your husband's last name as your last name. That is what I ended up doing because I didn't want to drop my maiden last name, but it is a lot less confusing on paper work to have just one last name.
From what I heard, I don't think you are allowed to put your maiden name as your middle name anymore. I know my SIL did so, but about 8 yrs ago. But when my friend went to do the same, 3 yrs ago, I believe she was denied.

Most people hyphenate their last name - husband's last name, in that order.
