I'm having waking up difficulties today and I'd really like to go home and take a nap.
Tonight I'm doing housework and getting ready for the classes I teach tomorrow... nothing too exciting unless a friend coffee date comes through (fingers crossed).
I will be trying a recipe for Red Lobster biscuits. I'm pretty stoked about that and I will share the recipe if they turn out like the real ones!

Doing AOK. Woke up at 5:30 this morning to the sound of chewing, and found Pugsly had gotten ahold of one of my make-up brushes (...God only knows how...). She hasn't been a chewer thus far, but maybe it's time to get a bone.
Also decided to wear a wrap/shawl my sister got me for Christmas. I don't wear stuff like that very often, and though I think it looks all right, I feel a little silly. Not normally my thing. (When asked DH if i looked all right, his diplomatic response was: "I don't see anything wrong with it." *sigh*)

I'm actually feeling really good today. My appetite is back and my boss has mostly left me alone today.
Nothing exciting tonight. I'm thinking about making myself a purple-y, silky beret, which pretty much would only excite me.

Morning! I had a couple failed experiments... so that always puts me in a sour mood. Aside from that my mom and aunt are visiting this weekend, and we still have to do xmas with DH's family, which we're doing tomorrow... whoops.
And I've been tons of different things in my crockpot. I'm too obsessed!
Annnnndddd... DH is planning a getaway weekend for my birthday, but I don't want him to spend too much money.. I'm conflicted.

Hey ladies! This morning was HARD to get out of bed. I have been feeling ill and went to bed really early last night in hopes of having a better day today than I did yesterday...but then I couldn't get up anyway. sigh. DH did bring me home flowers last night, which was unexpected and sweet!
Tonight we have DH's office holiday party (they always do it in January rather than during the holidays). Just meeting up a bar near their office since his company is small.

Karen,I also had the same experience. I decided to wear this hat today, that I bought at Hot Topic. I NEVER wear hats and I ventured into Publix with it on today. I felt like such a weirdo but I hope I looked ok. lol

I teach voice lessons, dance classes and musical theatre classes. Tomorrow I have two new voice students and two musical theatre classes. The rest of my classes are on Saturdays.

Oops, sorry about the double post. Not sure what happened there!
I am OK today. Just working very hard and (speaking of real estate) I just got my best friend and her husband's offer accepted on a new place. So excited for them! DH and I realized that we are going to have more money than we expected to go towards our relocation to SF and hopefully the baby that will follow soon after. I've never had much money and it feels really nice to be comfortable for once in my life! It's insanely cold again in NYC and I REALLY wish we were either moving sooner, or spring would come early.
LoL... I've got to find a context to say that to my husband... It'll be my 102nd thing to do in the next 1001 days.

no comments yet but when i bought it dh said "ur never gonna wear that" because he knows how i am about accessories. I just forget about em. I took the leap today tho! I might start wearing it more often. I dont have to do my hair!
