just did the shred...

without jillians voice (and option on the dvd) and it was so much better.  She makes me insane - and the workout seemed to go even faster without her constant chatter.  Hooray.  I'm doing the video "jillian free" from now on.

  • I really need to get this video and try it out.  I keep hearing good things about it.  Is it more cardio or weight training... or both?
  • Ha, ha!  I don't mind her talking for the most part, but when she says "2 more!" and we do 3, I get mad!

    it's her "3,2,1" interval training idea.  It's 3 six minute circuts - and you'll need hand weights.  The whole thing is just a mix cardio, strength and abs.  Really, I just like it because it gets me up, sweating, and only takes 20 minutes of my day.

    I too find Jillian quite annoying! How do you know when it's time to move on if she's muted though? I remember considering this when I used that workout, but found myself in plank a lot or positions where I couldn't really be watching the tv.

    there is a musical change that makes me look up.
