Is anyone here a LEED AP or LEED GA?

I am trying to figure out how to become a LEED Green Associate and I figured I'd check to see if someone has done it and could explain about the process you went through.
I am a municipal planner that is encountering a lot more demand for commentary on LEED dveelopment projects and I figure this could help send our municipality in the right direction. Is it worth it? The practice exam questions seem tough to me but I am not familiar with the regulations yet. Thank you!
