starting from seed
I'm a sucker for punishment and I want to try starting my garden from seed this year.
When do the seeds come out in stores? I'm in zone 5 and I'm anxiously awaiting their arrival. I just know that if you are a hermit and don't get out much (like I sometimes do in the winter) everything gets picked over really quickly and you miss out.
I know I can order from catalogs, but I'd prefer to go get everything locally and do a one stop shopping kind of thing.

Mine have some now (zone 7) but they'll have more early Feb.
However, I usually mail order for most of mine. I love trying weird varieties!
