Stupid Confession

When I hear people mention cleanses I think, "you idiot".  Technically cleanses are stupid and that is what your liver and kidneys are for.  And they're FREE.

 

Then I think, "what if I did that?  Would I lose weight?".  I probably would, but then eat my way through the better part of a bag of donuts.

I have toyed with the idea of doing Master Cleanse. But then I realize I'd be so b!tchy I'd have to be institutionalized, that is if I didn't kill people was imprisoned.

Your problem is that you are eating "donuts" out of a bag.  All of the happy fatties know that the good donuts come fresh from the bakery in a box.

Having done a "cleanse" before my colonoscopy, I don't recommend it. Yes, I lost 3 pounds but I spend almost a full 24 hours on the can. My butt burned for days after that. Don't do it!

This falls into the category of how stupid would I have be to believe that living off a lemony beverage for 3 days is a healthy alternative to good diet and exercise.

diet cleanse =/= colonscopy prep.  there's no cleaning there; it's just preparation for a procedure.  it gets dirty again pretty quick.

yeah, I have a friend who attempts the master cleanse every now and then. Last time she was 4 days in we went to a bar. Where she had beer, and pizza. Pretty sure that didn't end pleasantly for her.

Actually, today is day 10 of a new round of this for her. I wonder how she did/if she's still alive.

You don't eat for 36 hours and you use an entire bottle of Miralax. If that's not cleansing I don't know what is.
