apartment opinions please

I know,  I know, I am totally one note right now...

if you had a choice between a HUGE apartment with almost no closet space (but probably room for wardrobes).  two bedrooms, office, dining room, eat in kitchen, living room and a washer dryer hook up (in a separate laundry closet).  One flight up.

or a smaller place

beautiful eat in kitchen, big living room two bedroom (one very very small). first floor, but decent well designed closet space.  First floor.

Which would you choose.  Both are really pretty places with lots of light.  Of course this is moot because one is the one that might not be available and one is probably too expensive.  I still want your opinions though!

I'd go with the one that has more square footage. Like you said, you can always add wardrobes. Good luck.

If you can add wardrobes and/or rent a storage space, I would pick the one with more room.

The first- more room. It doesn't sound like you are too keen on the second one anyway

the first one!!! it has a washer-dryer hook up. neither of our bedrooms has closet space (there are two closets in the kitchen and living room) but we've been able to work it out fine.

I'd pick the first one too. It's always easier to add wardrobes if there is enough room. And the washer/drier hookup i amazing, you will so love it!

the bigger one!  just get some wardrobes or armoires:)

the first one!  we hardly have any closets in our house and we have made do.  More space means more dressers and other places to store things.
