I feel like I've been working for 2 weeks straight. My brain is shot. I completely missed a meeting I was supposed to attend yesterday and I feel horrible. The person holding the meeting came up to me later and asked me if I forgot something. I had no clue what she was talking about. She actually had to tell me that I missed the meeting. I am so out of it. I didn't even know what day it was yesterday.
I'm hoping today will be better. I made myself some caffinated tea, but already managed to hit my head on something this morning and now I have a red welt on my forehead.
Does anyone get that Lowes magazine in the mail? Did you see that kit for making laminate countertops look nicer? I kind of want to see how much it is and if it's reasonable, try it out to see how it turns out before we shell out a couple hundred for something else.

Work has been hell the past couple weeks - I'm surrounded by auditors. I can't wait for this week to be over!
Izzy - I didn't see that. I'll have to look into it b/c we have laminate countertops. They're OK now, but I'm sure we'll need to refresh them before we sell our house down the road.
Anyone have fun plans for the weekend? We are going to a sushi place in Philly for dinner Friday night, then the rest of the weekend we'll be spending time with Jack. My MIL is coming Sat, and I have a baby shower Sunday.

Ugh, I am with you. I got home from class at 11 last night and went straight to bed. I woke up and while I was making my lunch, I was thinking about what I would make for dinner until I realized I have class again tonight. Friday at 4pm cannot come fast enough!
I have no big plans this weekend...dinner with the H and some of our friends on Saturday. I am looking forward to spending the day off on Monday relaxing while my H has work...

I gotta say - I'm not jealous of you girls in school now. I am so glad I'm done (for now at least.) If and when I go back for my PhD it will be much further down the road.
Today's my last day in the office, and then I have a 4-day weekend!!!! Today will be extremely busy though. We're picking up some furniture from my parent's house tomorrow, and we're finalliy doing our Secret Santa sxhcnge with H's cousins.
My parents settle on their house in MD today.. sigh...

My plan for the day is to nap as much as possible. Chase is two weeks old today and I never really sleep when he sleeps. Feed, snuggle, nap... ignore everything else that's screaming to get accomplished...
ok, so if anyone on here is from the cherry hill/haddonfield area.....did you smell that awful smell this AM from like 4AM on? I woke up and thought our house was going to blow up from a gas leak. Hubs thought i was completely insane. turns out, on philly.com, they posted how a leak, during a cleaning or something, at the Sunoco plant in south philly released a large amount of horrid smell that blanketed the S philly and S jersey areas. it cuased hundreds of calls into 911, PECO and PSE&G. there is no problem or toxic contamination, just the stench. so weird.
