Hi ladies! I'm a nestie now :)

Hi everyone! I was married December 28, 2009 in WPB, but my DH and I reside in NC (all though we desperately want to return to FL).

I see some knotties I know, hi Michi! It feels funny being on this side, lol. I am loving married life though, it's a different feeling for sure. Like peaceful and we're more bonded now.

Do some of you ladies just catch yourself laughing randomly and smiling all the time? Every now and then I'll say to DH you're my husband and he'll say you're my wife. Smile

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and hopefully everyone is having a great day!

Re: Hi ladies! I'm a nestie now :)

  • Congratulations on your recent wedding!  Married life is definitely a different feeling - a good one!  A year later and hubby and I still randomly remember funny things that happened at the reception and laugh about it.

    Welcome to the other side!!!

When life hands you a bunch of lemons, make lemonade-call me over and I'll bring the tequila and salt!
  • Welcome to this side! Cant wait to see Alain's teasers!

P.S. I just read your reviews and wanted to say that Gil must have a thing against toss bouquets, bc he forgot mine also! Oh well, I loved him anyway, lol.

He's my fairytale, a dream when I'm not sleeping.

  • Welcome and congrats on your beautiful wedding. I do remember it took me some getting used to saying this is my husband instead of fiance LOL.
  • Congrats and welcome! Married life is a different, great feeling. Just wait until you reach your 2nd anniversary. At one of my bridal showers, a friend had just celebrated her 2nd wedding anniversary with her husband, and she told me the 2-year mark was a good. We hit 2 years in October, and I realized she was right! There's a new special feeling with that, too, though it's hard to explain.
  • Joaaaaaanne!! Please stick around, we need more regulars!  :)

I love your siggy pic and cannot wait till Alain freakin updates his blog!! I'm going to start harassing him lol.

Oh and yes, I still think it's funny when Andrew says "my wife".  I kept hearing him talking to people in the hospital saying "my wife needs this and my wife needs that." I don't know why, it just melts my heart :)

Michi, that was definitely me two years ago! When we boarded the plane to head to France for our HM, somehow DH and I weren't sitting together. When he asked the woman in between us, "would you mind switching with me so I can sit next to my wife?", I literally burst into tears. I felt like such an idiot! But it still feels so nice to be called "my wife" :)

I know it makes me emotional too! lol We are such dorks.  I guess after 9 years of being together, it's just still surreal that now I'm FINALLY his wife!!

  • Congrats on your marriage! Your siggy picture is beautiful.
