Question on PC/MAC Internet Connection

Lurker here.

I am not very tech savvy at all so I apologize if this sounds confusing. I'd appreciate any help!

When we bought our house, my husband got the Cable internet hooked up to a wireless connection on this MAC laptop.

I need to be able to access this internet connection on my PC desktop.

Is this possible? Can I get access to our internet through his connection? If so what do I need to get?

Any advice appreciated!!!

Re: Question on PC/MAC Internet Connection

  • I think I know what you're talking about, and you shouldn't have any problems using internet on your PC!

When you set up your home internet, all you are doing is applying those settings to the modem itself so that it can always make a connection.  As long as you know the password to your wireless network you can connect anything to it!
